Join our team for a thrilling and dynamic role as a Safety Coordinator. Main Responsibilities:

The Safety Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of our employees and subcontractors on job sites. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Conduct daily and weekly site safety meetings to address ongoing concerns and promote best practices.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees and subcontractors, ensuring they are familiar with safety procedures and expectations.
  • Provide safety training sessions and maintain accurate documentation of training records.
  • Conduct daily safety tours on construction sites, identifying potential hazards and collaborating with Project Managers to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain open communication channels with all team members and subcontractors, fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
  • Lead incident investigations when necessary and ensure timely reporting to regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in morning toolbox meetings to discuss safety protocols and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety and construction, considered an asset.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English, considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as our projects can be located anywhere in Canada.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including skills in Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of addressing groups of up to 100 individuals.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to foster a team approach.

Conditions:

  • Flexible schedule options available: 15/6 or 10/4 rotation.
